Members of Kranti Sena, a fringe Hindu group, held their first activist convention on June 1 this year in Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh, where Muslim hate speech presided over the event.

According to a report by The Caravan, speeches were called for a “sterilization system to curb the explosive growth of the country’s Muslim population.” The “million rupees of Rohingya infiltrators from Bangladesh who have illegally entered the country…be expelled,” Kranti Sena leaders said. About five hundred people participated in this convention and about a quarter of which were women.

A Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) plane, en route from Sharjah to Lahore, had to make an emergency landing at Lahore’s Allama Iqbal International Airport after one of the engines was hit by a bird on Thursday.

According to PIA officials, the incident occurred as the PK-258 was about to land at Lahore airport. But the pilot, demonstrating his skill, managed to safely land the plane, thus also saving the lives of the 168 passengers on board. Such was the impact of the collision that the engine was completely disabled.

The West Bengal Housing Infrastructure Development Corporation (HIDCO) has introduced a new concept “Happy Works” a working module which has been established in 3 locations in Newtown.

The Happy Works space essentially consists of work pods, which provide a comfortable environment for people to work, at minimal fees. The charge is 30 rupees for the first hour and a half (90 minutes), after which you would have to pay 20 rupees for each additional hour. Many customers also reserve pods on a monthly basis by paying a one-time charge at the beginning of the month.

In the United States, the Supreme Court overturned one of its own earlier rulings that had stood in the country for nearly 50 years. The 1973 decision provided a constitutional right to abortion, and the bombshell vote won the support of five of the six conservative justices on the court.

Millions of women in the United States will lose their legal right to abortion after this decision. This landmark decision will change existing abortion laws and allow different states to ban abortion practices on an individual level.

Swedish YouTuber Felix Arvid Ulf Kjellberg, better known as PewDiePie is trending on social media and Netizens blame Pewdiepie for promoting Nazism by having Ben Shapiro on his channel.

A Twitter user wrote “The fact people are shocked and angry Pewdiepie is on there is an entire generation that forgot he literally has said racist things on stream and yelled the N-word multiple times. Not to mention he has said incredibly anti-semetic things and still does”.

The Rajasthan government has issued environmental clearances after nearly 26 years to 37 of 42 Intent holders to restart mining of the pink sandstone which will be used to build the Ayodhya Ram Temple.

Additional Chief Secretary (Mines) Subodh Agarwal said: “This month, mining of the pink and red stones has already started on 3 leases. The remaining 34 leases will begin mining in July. With this legal mining, the State will not only obtain income from royalties but the mining will be carried out in a safe and responsible manner.”

The main planner of the 26/11 November 2008 (11/26) terrorist attack in Mumbai, Sajid Mir has been arrested by Pakistan, reports said on Friday amid Pakistan’s attempts to get off the FATF ‘grey list’.

As per reports, Pakistan had arrested Mir to remove him from the “grey list” of the Financial Action Task Force, the international financial watchdog against terrorism. Indian agencies have deemed Mir to be more dangerous than Lashkar’s boss, Hafiz Saeed.
